Ten years ago, the UN Human Rights Council created the Working Group on Discrimination against women and girls. Did you know that this is one of the most progressive mechanisms for the protection of women's rights?

Let's celebrate the tenth anniversary of this important human rights mechanism together!

The Feminist Alliance for Rights (FAR), the Center for Women's Global Leadership (CWGL), the Women's Human Rights Education Institute -WHRI) and the Inter-American Shelter Network (RIRE) that we want to invite you to the webinar where two of its members, Melissa Upreti and Alda Facio, will tell us about the origin, role, and impact of the Working Group since its creation.

Our guests will also share ideas on how to use this mechanism more effectively in the context of setbacks and where our rights are constantly being threatened or violated.

The event will be moderated by Anya Victoria, FAR Global Coordinator.
