In July 2017 we had the pleasure of hosting feminists who participated in the fight for women’s rights over the years. They came together to record the feminist movement’s complex and diverse history.

Each spring semester, CWGL leads the three-credit experiential course Feminist Advocacy for Women's Rights through the United Nations, taught by Professor Radhika Balakrishnan, on the practice of feminist advocacy for women's human rights at the local, regional and global levels. The course provides students the opportunity to engage at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

In the coming year, CWGL will convene human rights defenders, advocates, policy makers, economists, women journalists, unions, women parliamentarians and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) to work with us on the following:
